Role Overview: The Co-op Student will provide support to the finance department.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Update and reconcile the global cash balances and activities

- Assist with cash management and liquidity planning processes

- Support FX and gold trading activities

- Collaborate with banks on trade confirmations and settlements

- Coordinate and collect documents from departments for corporate development or financing;

- Responsible for assessing and maintaining the internal controls documentation

- Assist with accounting activities, month-end close, audit requests, and quarterly financial reports

- Assist with financial analysis, quarterly forecasting, and annual budgeting process

- Participate in projects and assignments as needed

Experience

Preferred

- - Currently enrolled in post-secondary education in a Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics discipline

- Strong quantitative, written, and verbal communication skills with a clearly defined interest to work in finance

- A high demonstrated level of attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
