The I.T. Systems Manager with a focus on energy trading and midstream is a key analytical role for our IT program and business systems application stack. This position will provide technical support, oversight, and administration, including tracking, monitoring, optimization, and maximizing the availability of key financial and business applications, especially the energy trading and midstream systems. The right candidate should have experience supporting ETRM systems and experience in the natural gas industry business process, terminology, and standard data values. This role will report to the Director of IT Enterprise Systems.

Location preferred Birmingham, AL, Richmond, VA, Houston, TX, Oklahoma City, OK with travel up to 20%.

- Proven experience in energy trading operations within the oil and gas sector.

- Skilled in end-to-end trading lifecycle activities, including deal origination, pre-bid strategy development, nomination and confirmation workflows, and post-trade settlement processes.

- Bachelor’s degree or a related combination of education and experience.

- Highly motivated self-starter with a proven commitment to delivering exceptional results.

- Strong analytical mindset with advanced problem-solving capabilities.

- Design and propose system solutions that align with business objectives and user needs.

- Experience identifying inefficiencies and driving process improvements.

- Demonstrated experience in change management, with a track record of successfully driving user adoption.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills and clear, effective written and verbal communication.

- Adept at managing multiple priorities and navigating competing deadlines in fast-paced environments.

- Experience writing and optimizing database queries (SQL preferred).

- Prior experience with any of the following ETRM systems: FIS Aligne, EMK3, ION, OpenLink, Triple Point, Allegro, Quorum, FIS SunGard ZaiNet, PipeOps, GasOps, or Gas Transaction Management (GMS).

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

- Prolonged periods working at a desk in front of a computer.

- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
