IT Business Analyst

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders and development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood, accurately documented, and effectively implemented. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys collaborating across teams and shaping the product roadmap.

Job Description

- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.

- Translate requirements into business design documents and user stories for development and QA teams.

- Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure business requirements are accurately reflected in technical design and testing.

- Partner with business stakeholders to review requirements, coordinate user acceptance testing, and organize training before release as needed.

- Contribute to defining the product roadmap and release plans in collaboration with other Business Analysts.

Skills Required

- 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, working with both business and IT development teams.

- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.

- Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal skills.

- Proficient in managing application backlogs using tools like ADO, TFS, or Jira.

- Experience in Agile environments, including Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or other scaling models.

Education/Training/Certifications

- High School Diploma or GED required.

- Certifications such as PMI-PBA or IIBA-CBAP are a plus.
