IRATA L3 + Supervisor

Position Summary:

Tacten is currently seeking a professional, motivated, and forward-thinking IRATA Level 3 Technician to join our growing team in the Atlantic Region, based out of St. John’s, NL.

Responsibilities:

The IRATA Level 3 technician will carry out the following

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of Technicians assigned to the crew

- Review and approve time sheets and Field Level Risk Assessments, addressing deficiencies and providing constructive feedback to technicians

- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, training, and skills development to technicians under your supervision

- Assist in investigating and documenting near misses, safety incidents, and non-conformances

- Serve as the primary emergency contact 24/7 through cell phone availability

- Perform necessary services in situations where no other personnel are available for the task

Requirements:

- IRATA Level 3 Certification

- minimum 3 years of heavy rigging experience

- 1st aid certification and all safety certifications as required within NFLD.

- Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques

- Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of a Level III Rope Access Technician

- Be conversant with relevant work techniques

- Proficiency/experience in trades/industrial settings

- Background in mechanical operations
