Position Summary:

The Inventory & Billing Analyst – Assistant Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory records and billing processes. This individual will assist in managing day-to-day inventory control, support the billing cycle, identify discrepancies, and implement process improvements. The role requires strong analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

•

Oversee daily inventory activities including receipts, transfers, cycle counts, and adjustments.

•

Analyze inventory trends and discrepancies, investigating and resolving root causes.

•

Ensure inventory transactions are accurately reflected in ERP systems.

•

Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to implement best practices in inventory control.

•

Support physical inventory audits and reconciliation processes.

Billing & Invoicing:

•

Ensure accurate and timely billing for all customer orders and services.

•

Review and verify billing data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with customer contracts and company policies.

•

Resolve billing discrepancies in coordination with sales, finance, and operations teams.

•

Assist in generating regular financial and performance reports related to billing and inventory.

Process Improvement & Reporting:

•

Develop and maintain dashboards and metrics to track key performance indicators.

•

Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and process improvements.

•

Support system enhancements and data integrity projects related to inventory and billing.

•

Train and mentor junior staff on inventory and billing procedures.

Qualifications:

•

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.

•

3–5 years of experience in inventory analysis, billing, or related operations roles; experience in manufacturing or distribution industries is a plus.

•

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

•

Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

•

High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Preferred Skills:

•

Familiarity with aluminum or metals distribution industry.

•

Ability to adapt to and support ongoing system or technology upgrades.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
