B2Gold is a responsible international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, the Goose Project under construction in northern Canada, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland.
Reporting to the Inventory Management Specialist, this position will be a fly in- fly out 3x3 rotation based in Nunavut, Canada.
- Review and validate new material master data—including descriptions, classifications, and units of measure—in alignment with company naming conventions and duplicate control protocols;
- Monitor and adjust Min/Max inventory levels by collaborating with planners and end-users to generate purchase requisitions, ensure availability of critical spares, and refine stock parameters based on usage trends, demand forecasts, and lead times;
- Maintain inventory accuracy and optimize warehouse space through regular bin inspections, proper labeling, elimination of duplicates, processing of returns, and review of inactive stock;
- Support data integrity by managing item photographs, executing SAP transactions, and preparing scheduled and ad hoc inventory reports for analysis and review; and
- Collaborate with warehouse teams across sites to standardize inventory practices, contribute to staff training, and uphold established policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Minimum of three (3) years of warehouse or inventory experience in mining, industrial, or heavy industry;
- Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or equivalent as deemed by the Company; or a Parts/Materials Technician journeyperson certification;
- APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) would be considered an asset; and
- Proficiency in SAP Materials Management and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
For informational purposes, the estimated annual earnings are $118,508.00 for 2184 scheduled hours (combined regular hourly rate of $43.00 and overtime rate of $64.50) in a work year.
