Performs advanced compliance audits, financial and operational audits, and special projects in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditor’s (IIA) International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF).

Knowledge:
•Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls over financial reporting.

•Significant working knowledge and understanding of area of accounting that you will serve in this capacity (corporate accounting, consolidations accounting, operations accounting, fixed asset accounting)
•Development of solid understanding of economic factors affecting the company’s business.
•Proficiency in current versions of Microsoft Excel and Word required and ERP/Financial Systems (Oracle) a plus.
•Demonstrated understanding of policies and procedures that apply to assignments and insight into the “why” as well as the “how”.
•Proficiency with AuditBoard or other audit software.
Minimum Education and Certification:
•Bachelor's or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
•CPA or CIA certification preferred.
Minimum Experience:
- Typically 7+ years relevant experience in an accounting or finance role. - Experience in public accounting and/or internal audit preferred.

•Expected to serve as department lead by directing the activities of the team.
•Expected to serve as a resource to others for knowledge transfer, training and checking work.
