Essential Responsibilities
If you love technology and energy, and want a career in engineering, a technical internship in INNIO Group is for you! Engineering assignments take on the world’s toughest challenges – clean power and affordable energy - and are motivated by real business priorities. As an intern, you could work on a variety of high impact teams, potentially including product design, mechanical development, analysis, controls, remote data monitoring, advanced and additive manufacturing, testing and validation, combustion, performance, services, technical fulfillment, cost-out and more. Applicable candidates for the high-school internship program include: rising high-school juniors, seniors. Internships are available for the Summer of 2019 with the possibility of extending into the Fall of 2019.
Qualifications
•GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 / 4.0 overall
•High School Coursework Focus: STEM, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering. Other Technology based studies such as Computer Engineering, Mechanical Design, or other Engine-related coursework focus will also be considered.
•Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen
•Ability to lift, pull, push and guide medium weight objects up to 50 lbs.
•Legal authorization to work in the U.S is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
