CNPC USA is actively seeking creative, innovative, best-in-class experts to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity for an internship in drilling dynamics and mechanics. The intern will be responsible for studying, testing, and comparing different drill string dynamic models. The intern will also be responsible for researching the theory of each model and testing each model to evaluate its strengths and weaknesses. This position reports directly to a Senior Engineer in the Drilling Products group.
This job operates in an office environment. Secondary responsibilities of the role may require the use of standard lab equipment such as a tensile testing frame.
