As an Intermediate Accountantat CIMS LP, you will be a key contributor towards CIMS success by working as part of a team responsible for accounting processes and will play a key role in providing financial and operational reporting. while embodying CIMS corporate values of Our People, Our Promise, Our Passion.
You will report to the Assistant Controller and be accountable for full-cycle accounting support for CIMS business operations, including:
- Performing bank reconciliations, entering journal entries, ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Conducting account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies, working with a large amount of data.
- Providing support for financial planning and analysis, including the preparation of financial projections and reports.
- Performing Balance Sheet & Income Statement Account Schedules.
- Assisting with Accounts Payable (AP) issue resolution as needed.
A successful candidate would be an individual who has:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business (ideally a CPA student).
- A strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles; familiarity with fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
- High volume AP experience.
- The ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities, and participate as a collaborative, self-starting, team player.
