Interconnection Supervisor (Chile)

Mission

At Zelestra, we are looking for a Interconnection Supervisor to join a major renewable-energy project in the Tarapacá Region. The purpose of this role will be to supervise the execution of electrical interconnection work assigned on site, in coordination with the work planning carried out by the production manager, in line with internal procedures and quality standards, while ensuring compliance with current regulations and safeguarding people’s health and safety.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and control the execution of interconnection works, ensuring compliance with project drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.

- Coordinate and oversee subcontractor activities, validating executed units and corresponding certifications.

- Conduct quality and safety inspections on-site, ensuring compliance with established procedures and checklists.

- Supervise the commissioning of interconnection installations, ensuring proper execution of tests and protocols.

- Review and validate all technical documentation provided by subcontractors and contractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements.

- Approve shutdown points and coordinate critical activities to ensure the continuity of work.

- Prepare and report non-conformity or deviation reports, proposing corrective and preventive actions to the Production Manager.

- Complete and approve topographical verification protocols and other technical measurements required on-site.

- Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental policies, integrating preventive actions into all construction activities.

- Ensure that all activities are performed in accordance with regulations, internal procedures, and applicable prevention and protection measures.

Job Requirements

- Technical degree in Electricity.

- At least 3 years of experience in similar roles.

- Proven previous experience in utility-scale renewable-energy projects.

- Class B driver’s license.

- Availability to work on-site at our project near Pozo Almonte on a regular schedule.
