We are continuing to grow and are seeking an Integrity Engineer to join our team. The role will be a hybrid position and can be based out of our Minneapolis or Duluth offices. This position will manage and provide engineering support to integrity activities in the energy sector. Typical activities are anticipated to include integrity risk assessment, integrity inspection coordination (NDE, indirect survey, In-Line inspection, etc.), fitness for service, and executing remediation strategies. Qualified individuals will have a strong technical foundation, excellent interpersonal skills, and proven client management abilities. This individual is expected to build client trust. The Integrity Engineer will be expected to support a mix of local office and field activities and may be required to travel up to 25% of the time in Colorado, Utah, California, Minnesota, Texas, and other parts of the country
Job Description:
•Identify integrity threats
•Provide engineering support and coordinate field inspection activities
•Develop and execute detailed integrity inspection plans
•Complete integrity threat assessment (pipeline and pressure vessels)
•Perform fitness-for-service evaluations
•Select inspection and indirect survey techniques
•Support In-Line Inspection projects
•Assess pipeline damage and determine fitness for service
•Complete root cause analysis (RCA) of findings
Minimum Qualifications
•Bachelor of Science or higher in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics
•Proficiency with CFR 193, CFR 192, CFR 195, CFR 1910, API 570, API 510, API 579, ASME B31.8, ASME B318S, ASME B31G
•5+ years of experience in materials, corrosion, inspection and/or integrity engineering
•Experience managing, planning, and executing preventative maintenance or integrity programs in an energy sector pipeline environment
•Professional Engineer (PE) certification or ability to obtain PE certification within one year
•Experience working as a consulting engineer and/or in a seconded role Skills
•Commitment to providing client-focused service, treating coworkers and clients with kindness and respect.
•Proactive in identifying and solving problems with minimal guidance.
