The Field Integrity Engineer serves as a technical integrity resource for field personnel and provides coordination and guidance on integrity related activities. This role will be based out of Houston, TX or Midland/Odessa, TX (open to being based from either location).
Providing Project Management for ILI tool runs, hydrotests, reconditioning projects, and anomaly digs
Monthly forecasting of pipeline assessment and repair costs
Communicating with key stakeholders including field operations and maintenance personnel as well as company management
Selecting appropriate ILI (In Line Inspection) methods and coordinating schedule of tool run
Coordinating kick-off meetings for assessment and repair programs
Calculating in-the-ditch remaining pipeline strength using B31G, log-secant, etc.
Selecting appropriate NDE methods and make pipeline anomaly repair determination
Providing feedback and participate in vendor KPI meetings
Interpreting policy, code, and regulation (CFR Title 49 parts 192 & 195)
Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement through updates to standards, policies and procedures
Planning Hydrotest objectives and calling hydrostatic pressure tests
Serving as a technical resource and providing consulting on fundamental pipeline engineering concepts
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Able to travel up to 50% of the time
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Metallurgical, or Civil Engineering degree
3 or more years of experience in pipeline integrity engineering
The Phillips 66 Midstream business is a safe, reliable, and trusted provider for the movement, storage, gathering, and processing of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 70,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities. Our capabilities include extensive natural gas gathering and processing operations, enhancing our wellhead-to-market strategy. We also provide the connectivity between the various Phillips 66 business units.
