As a Instrumentation and Controls Engineer IV, you will hold a key leadership position, responsible for providing strategic direction, technical oversight, and mentorship to the instrumentation and control engineering discipline. You will contribute to the organization's engineering strategies, drive innovation, and ensure excellence in the execution of instrumentation and control engineering projects.
· Perform equipment sizing & selection, alternative analyses, and other deliverables
· Support the engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of facilities
· Present engineering and design deliverables to project members, cross-functional teams, senior leadership, external vendors, clients, and other stakeholders
· Plan, forecast, and actualize deliverable progress to support project reporting and schedule requirements
· Identify scope changes and estimate impact to effort and schedule
· Supports proposal efforts by evaluating RFP scope, identifying list of deliverables, and estimating effort required
· Prepares, reviews, and approves instrumentation equipment, conduit, and wiring calculations,
· Develops Operating Controls Philosophy and Cause & Effect Diagrams, reviews HMI layout and
· Extensive knowledge and experience in instrument and controls engineering principles and practices
· Advanced proficiency in engineering software and tools for system design, simulation, and analysis
· Ability to interpret and create technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
· In-depth understanding of process control systems and automation technologies
· Strong knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and best practices
· Ability to develop and implement instrumentation and control engineering standards and guidelines
· Excellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills – written and verbal
· Proficient in both written and spoken English
