Installation Analysis Engineer

POSITION: Installation Analysis Engineer WORKSITE: 17220 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77094

Responsibilities include: Performing subsea installation engineering analysis mainly related to rigid and flexible pipeline installation techniques, subsea structures lift and deployment to seabed; providing analysis for the different activities of the pipeline installation; monitoring pipeline behavior during installation activities, strength analysis and fatigue analysis; performing analysis of riser systems; analysis for the different activities of the subsea structure installation; draft technical project documents (installation engineering memo and installation analysis reports); liaise with Project Teams for project data, installation feasibility; liaise with Project Team and client to clarify installation analysis concerns; report project status to lead installation engineer and assess required resource adjustments; ensures that specifications and norms related to the project are respected.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, or structural engineering or closely related field a minimum of three years’ experience in: offshore related activities; use of design and analysis software (i.e. Orcaflex); and installation analysis of rigid pipelines, flexible pipelines, umbilical, risers and subsea structures.
