Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Solar Inside Sales Manager to join our growing team! This role is critical in driving our sales performance, providing excellent customer experiences, and managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls. You will be responsible for overseeing company leads, nurturing client relationships, upselling additional services, and helping maximize revenue growth. Key Responsibilities:
•Inbound and Outbound Call Management: Handle high volumes of inbound customer inquiries and proactively make outbound calls to prospects and existing customers to drive new and repeat business.
•Lead Management: Organize, track, and manage all company-generated leads through CRM systems, ensuring timely follow-ups and maintaining consistent communication.
•Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify customer needs and upsell additional products or services that enhance their solar energy experience.
•Sales Coaching and Support: Provide guidance and support to the inside sales team (if applicable), helping them refine their techniques and meet sales targets.
•Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with customers by providing accurate information, answering questions, resolving concerns, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
•Reporting and Analysis: Track daily, weekly, and monthly metrics related to call activity, lead conversion rates, and sales performance. Provide regular reports to senior management.
•Collaboration: Work closely with the outside sales team, project managers, and marketing team to ensure a seamless sales process and share feedback for continuous improvement.
•Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on solar industry trends, product knowledge, financing options, and competitive landscape to better serve customers and drive sales.
Qualifications:
•Solar sales experience, renewable energy, or home improvement industries
•Prior management or team leadership experience is a plus
•Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
•Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and leads simultaneously
•Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changes
•Positive attitude, self-motivated, and a team player
•Goal-oriented with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets
