Internship Overview:

We are seeking motivated students to join our Summer 2026 Internship Program in Information Technology. This program offers hands-on experience across several areas of IT, allowing interns to work alongside professionals who keep our utility’s systems secure, efficient, and innovative. Interns will contribute to meaningful projects while gaining exposure to enterprise-level technology operations.

Available Departments May Include: IT Infrastructure & Operations – supporting networks, servers, storage, and cloud environments Cybersecurity – assisting with monitoring, threat analysis, and incident response Applications Development & Support – coding, testing, and supporting enterprise applications Data Analytics & Business Intelligence – working with data tools to support reporting and decision-making End-User Support & Service Desk – assisting with troubleshooting, customer service, and device management

What You'll Do:

- Support IT teams with projects, troubleshooting, and daily operations

- Assist with system testing, upgrades, and security monitoring

- Analyze data and prepare reports to support business decisions

- Research and recommend technology solutions to improve efficiency

Additional Information:

- Internships begin on May 18, 2026

- Interns will work 40 hours per week for a period of 10-12 weeks

Position Requirements

Qualified candidates must:

- Be pursuing a degree in Computer Science

- Have completed their first year at a 2-year college/university (transfer program) or 4-year college/university

- Be enrolled as a full-time student Fall 2026

- Successfully undergo pre-employment physical and drug screen if selected for this position

Salary Ranges:

Rising Sophomore: $21.00 per hour

Rising Junior: $22.00 per hour

Rising Senior: $23.00 per hour
