Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Information Technology Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, ensuring system security, and providing technical support to users. This role requires a strong understanding of various technologies, including cloud computing, network monitoring, and system security plans. The Information Technology Specialist will play a crucial role in safeguarding our systems and optimizing performance across the organization.

Responsibilities

•

Develop and implement system security plans to protect sensitive information and maintain compliance with industry standards.

•

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure efficient operation of IT systems.

•

Manage vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts to protect against potential threats.

•

Provide technical support for iOS devices and applications, ensuring seamless user experiences.

•

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance Quality of Service (QoS) across all platforms.

•

Utilize PowerShell for automation tasks related to system administration and reporting.

•

Maintain documentation of IT processes, policies, and procedures in alignment with COBIT frameworks.

•

Engage in cloud computing initiatives to optimize resource utilization and scalability.

•

Assist in the administration of UNIX systems, ensuring stability and security.

Qualifications

•

Proven experience in IT roles with a focus on system security, network monitoring, and vulnerability management.

•

Strong knowledge of cloud computing technologies and their implementation within an organization.

•

Familiarity with COBIT frameworks for IT governance and management practices.

•

Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation tasks is highly desirable.

•

Experience supporting iOS devices in a corporate environment is a plus.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

•

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and provide user support.

This position is based in Columbus, Ohio and is on-site 5x/week. Please, no third parties and unable to sponsor now, or in the future. This is a direct-hire position.
