EOG offers internship opportunities for university students pursuing a bachelor or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or other related degrees. At EOG, interns will apply technical skills in a real-world, dynamic environment, to contribute to a variety of technology-driven initiatives that optimize oil and gas exploration, production, and refining of energy resources. This may include, but is not limited to, the development of software tools, analysis of operational data, and support of data infrastructure and systems integration.

Job Requirements

- Currently pursuing a bachelor or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or other related degrees

- Minimum 3.0 GPA

- Eligible to work in the United States

- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across disciplines

- Familiar with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email applications

- Possess strong deductive reasoning skills and be able to analyze and synthesize information for problem solving

- Excellent organizational and planning skills, and demonstrate effective project coordination, facilitation, and implementation
