Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Maintenance Electrician to oversee operations in our Industrial Manufacturing company. Manufacturing electrician's responsibilities revolve around ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems in a production facility. This includes installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment, troubleshooting problems, and adhering to safety regulations. they also play a crucial role in preventive maintenance and collaborating with other teams to resolve electrical issues.
Responsibilities
•Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on electrical equipment to prevent failures and ensure optimal performance.
•Repair: Diagnosing and repairing electrical problems promptly to minimize downtime.
•Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving electrical problems promptly to minimize downtime.
•Preventive Maintenance: Conducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
•Code Compliance with all relevant electrical codes, safety, regulations, and company policies.
•Collaboration: Working with production supervisors, maintenance teams, and other tradespeople to complete projects and resolve issues.
•Documentation: Making accurate records of electrical work performed, including installations, repairs, and maintenance.
•Safety: Prioritzing safety at all times, including using appropriate safety equipment and following safety procedures.
•Interpreting Technical Documents: Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Qualifications
•Proficient in English communication
•Extensive experience in industrial mechanics and maintenance
•Strong mechanical knowledge and electrical experience
•Familiarity with schematics and maintenance protocols
•Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS
•Knowledge of hydraulics, HVAC systems, and precision measuring instruments
•Ability to work with high and low voltage systems, including the use of voltmeters and ammeters.
