Corrosion Engineering is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician who is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment.
This position is a temp to hire position. Benefits and other company perks will be available once 520 hours of work have been performed. Must be able to work overtime when necessary (depending on company needs).
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to support production operations in a fast paced environment
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, control panels, circuit breakers and pneumatic/hydraulic problems on all plant equipment
- Complete work orders in a timely manner to the highest quality standards
- Experience with installing, trouble shooting, adjusting, servicing, maintaining and repairing of mechanical equipment for various types of lifts and conveyor belts, industrial machinery, or other related fields.
- Perform all tasks in accordance with company safety policy guidelines
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance electrician experience
- Experience with PLC's, motor controls, and industrial automation systems
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
- Able to kneel, bend, and squat to perform required duties
