Industrial experience requires Installation and troubleshooting experience on control and distribution circuits. PLC and high voltage experience a plus.
a) Inspects, tests, dismantles, repairs, installs and performs preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and recording instruments in order to maintain them in the proper working order.
b) Required to use and operate all tools, testing equipment, simple machine tools and materials normally used by electricians in the performance of their work.
c) Performs preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment, such as lubricating, adjusting and inspecting for signs of needed repairs or replacements.
d) Work from sketches, blueprints, written diagrams or verbal instructions to trace electrical circuits and select a logical approach to "trouble shooting" and repair problems. Makes mechanical repairs as required in servicing electrical equipment.
e) Has a thorough knowledge of the theory of electricity and familiar with the basic electronics.
