FortisBC is seeking Indigenous Relations Manager to support the Tilbury LNG Expansion Project. Your genuine, empathetic nature and your skills in negotiation and conflict management make you an ideal candidate! You will work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team to develop integrated strategies that are pivotal to the success of FortisBC's Major Projects.
As our Indigenous Relations Manager, you’ll use your excellent interpersonal skills to build, maintain and strengthen our relationships with Indigenous communities. You’ll enact our Statement of Indigenous Principles to support the development and execution of FortisBC’s projects and initiatives. This work includes engagement through regulatory processes and addressing complex community concerns, negotiating and developing agreements (including capacity funding agreements and impact benefit agreements) and seeking potential economic and community partnership opportunities.
In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.
