The normal work schedule is on a rotation of 4 weeks: 2 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week)

followed by 2 weeks of rest.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Senior Mining Engineer, the incumbent will primarily be responsible for:

- Daily inspection of underground and open pit activities;

- Collect geotechnical data in the mines;

- Perform quality control on all installations related to ground stability;

- Follow up daily the ground control log for all mines;

- Prepare ground support or rehabilitation plans under the supervision of the ground control engineer;

- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and company policies;

- Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by his supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

- College diploma (DEC) in mining technique or a bachelor's degree in mining engineering, a minimum of 1 year of experience related to the job or equivalent; exploitation or geology profile;

- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in similar position or equivalent;

- Open pit and underground mine experience;

- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Deswik;

- Communication skills (reports, presentations, etc.);

- Valid driver's license and general explosives license are required;

- FMTM modules (1-2-3-4-5-7).
