Continental Siding is currently looking for a highly motivated individual seeking a long-term career, with the market's top home improvement company.
The purpose of the Measure Technician is to properly measure a window or siding job, write up a work order and materials list, and forward that information to required departments to keep the job process moving.
Shift: Full-time, 40 hours per week, occasional overtime, occasional nights and weekends
Work Hours: 7:00 am 4:00 pm Monday Friday (Overtime and weekend work may be required)
Wage: A salary of $40,000 $50,000, dependent on the candidate's experience and skills

Responsibilities:
•Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean working environment
•Measure windows that are sold to ensure proper measurements were taken
•Write up a work order to define the scope of the project
•Use project management software to record the necessary information
•Perform measures for windows, siding, soffit, fascia, shutters, gutters, etc. on homes of 1 to 3 stories
•Erect or dismantle ladders, scaffolding, braces, or other temporary structures
•Possess basic computer skills with the ability to use typical office programs
•Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
•Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or equivalent
•5 years of siding/window installation experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
•Building and Construction knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses
•Ability to handle and oversee multiple tasks effectively
•Ability to work in any weather conditions
•Establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates from all departments necessary to process project packets
•Ability to follow oral and written instructions
•Must be self-motivated, highly organized and detail-minded
•Good math, planning, and organization skills
•Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
•Must be able to drive long distances in company vehicle
•Possession of a valid driver’s license and be insurable on company insurance
•EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
•LANGUAGE SKILLS Able to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Able to speak English clearly and with proper grammar and diction. Able to speak effectively in group settings.
•MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
•REASONING ABILITY Able to apply common sense understanding in a variety of situations to assure customer satisfaction for both internal and external customers. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
•COMPUTER Skills Proficiency with using PC hardware (keyboard, monitor, system unit, mouse, cables) and office automation-related software (windows, MS Office applications, email, LAN printing) required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
