Job Duties and Expectations
•Identifies current and future electrical requirements by establishing a rapport with management, engineering, production personnel, technicians, and other persons in a position to understand electrical requirements.
•Ensures flow assurance by troubleshooting I&E issues quickly to keep assets up and running safely.
•Keeps documentation up to date or develops documentations as needed, from Cause and Effect Charts to point to point records, to ensure regulator compliance is met and reliable records are available when needed.
•Acts as the I&E lead for capital projects by coordinating the design and construction of electrical and PLC equipment.
•Has a working knowledge of PLC programming and can at the least pull data from the PLCs for troubleshooting purposes.

•Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.

•Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
•Five (5) years minimum experience required in oil and gas plant and field electrical maintenance.
•Specialized knowledge of high voltage electricity, power stations, switch gear, and safety training.
•Able to travel and may be required to stay overnight for certain task and projects.
•Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
•Required working knowledge of Program Logic Controllers (PLC) and flow computers.
•Ability to read and understand Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
•Working knowledge of variable speed drives for electrical motors.
•Working knowledge of electronic or pneumatic control valves.
•Ability to perform heavy manual tasks for extended periods of time.
•Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
•Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
•Ability to accurately solve problems.
•Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, and the public.
•Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
Education Requirements:
•Work requires an educational background normally acquired through a high school education with course work in skilled crafts, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
