Responsibilities:

As a Hydrovac Operator, you’ll provide safe and efficient hydro excavation services across a variety of projects. This includes:

- Operating hydro-vac trucks for excavation, trenching, day-lighting, and spill response

- Performing equipment inspections, maintenance, and minor troubleshooting

- Completing job paperwork and reporting

- Work in a physically demanding, safety-focused environment in all weather conditions

- Represent Trident with professionalism

- Communicating effectively, professionally, have a strong command of the English language

- Demonstrate a strong customer service focus in all interactions

- Work in a confined space; walk, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds

- Be computer proficient

- Be available to work overtime and some weekends (as needed)

What You Bring:

- Class 1 or 3 driver’s license with air brake endorsement

- 2+ years of hydrovac experience (required)

- Manual transmission driving ability

- Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork

- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors

- Experience in civil construction (preferred)

- Safety tickets such as First Aid, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, CSTS, CSO, or Ground Disturbance are an asset

Additional Details:

- Shifts vary (day/night/weekend availability required)

- 30–70 hours/week based on season

- Must be comfortable using phone apps/computers

- Clean driver’s abstract required
