HVAC Warranty Technician

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

- Endorse and comply with all Standard Heating and Air Conditioning’s Safety policies and initiatives.

- Support and participate in the Commitment of Excellence Program.

- Effectively demonstrate professionalism and courtesy when working with customers, contractors and co-workers.

- Must be able to complete projects independently and without regular supervision.

- Maintain a professional image and appearance.

- Review blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturer recommendations to ensure proper installation of project.

- Assemble position and mount heating and cooling equipment.

- Communicate work orders that address deficiencies in need of correction.

- Manage day to day oversight of job locations including but not limited to progress of job site and review of materials needed; maintain outlook for future scheduling.

- Training and development of Installers and Apprentices; communicate and offer feedback.

- Responsible for completing required paperwork in a timely matter.

- Ability to work on both residential and commercial zone systems.

- Knowledge of installation of refrigerants, accurately changing components, order duct fitting, equipment and accessories, install and operate low/high voltage.

- Conduct work for warranty customers; complete installs and startups of residential and/or commercial systems.

- Work with Warranty Administrator for dispatching and urgency of work required.

- Additional duties or responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must be available for flexible scheduling of work hours and overtime as required.

- Current Journeymen license.

- EPA and OSHA Certification preferred.

- Ability to work on and diagnosis residential and commercial equipment.

- Ability to be insured by the Company to drive a company vehicle.

- Basic Computer skills; Building Management System preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Requires lifting up to 55 lbs., the ability to bend, stretch, stoop, kneel, twist, or reach with your body, arms and/or legs.

- Requires working indoors and outdoors, in varied environmental conditions.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
