The HVAC Technician/installer is required to operate, maintain, and repair all equipment used for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. You will install new HVAC systems and ensure they are running smoothly. We work with both commercial and residential customers, so you must know or be willing to learn how to work with small and large HVAC equipment.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

*Perform HVAC installations

*Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment

*Apply local HVAC codes in practical manner on each job

*Provide excellent customer service

*Provide technical support in the field

*Collaborate with sales and production management to develop effective and efficient response to customer needs and market opportunities

*Layout, design, and install low-voltage wiring, able to follow wiring diagram

*Ability to be on-call after hours as requested

*Other tasks and responsibilities as required to maintain efficient department operations

Experience

Minimum 2-5 years experience with all aspects of HVAC

Able to work well independently and as part of a team

Strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasion, and interpersonal skills

Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Excellent attendance record at prior employment

Physical Demands

Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas.

Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations.

Climb, balance, squat, knee, and crouch

Work in all types of weather

Must have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools

Ability to lift and carry 51 to 150 pounds occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services

Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC and hydronic systems

We are hiring for both our Vail Valley and Glenwood Springs locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00 - $48.00 per hour
