Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to perform maintenance, repairs, and installations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently as well as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.

Duties

•

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, heating systems, and refrigeration equipment.

•

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment and perform necessary repairs.

•

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards.

•

Work with ammonia refrigeration systems and perform boiler maintenance as needed.

•

Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address any HVAC-related concerns in a timely manner.

•

Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs and solutions.

•

Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management for parts used.

Experience

•

Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role is preferred.

•

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, appliance repair, and equipment repair techniques.

•

Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations related to HVAC installations and repairs.

•

Ability to work with various tools and equipment necessary for installation and repair tasks.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills with a mechanical aptitude for understanding complex systems. Able to work unsupervised

•

Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
