Job Description: The HVAC Electrical Controls Installer will, under supervision, perform routine installation and checkout on a variety of systems according to engineering drawings.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
•Installation of multiple HVAC automation systems to specifications and drawings.
•Mounts and terminates controls equipment as needed.
•Install low voltage communications cabling, wiring and direct digital control system controllers and components.
•Install EMT, IMT conduit raceways.
•Troubleshoot installation/wiring and terminations with test instruments as needed.
•Keeps management informed of job needs, progress and issues.
•Complete documentation per project and keeps as-built drawings current.
•Resolves job site conflicts regarding installation issues or escalates concerns to management as required.
Requirements:
•High school diploma or GED.
•Legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
•Able to work independently.
•Demonstrated ability to read and interpret drawings.
•Possesses working knowledge of local codes as it applies to controls.
•Experienced in scope determination of installation materials.
•Understanding of automation controls topology and networking.
•Knowledge of automation controls system (Distech, JCI, Trane, ALC, etc. a plus)
•Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
Experience:
•No experience needed but preferred 1 year in direct installation of building automation systems.
Skills:
•Able to work in a variety of circumstances, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment; working in ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions.
•Able to carry heavy equipment and tools weighing up to 75 lbs.
•Able to differentiate between colors of wire.
•Ability to work in a team environment.
•Good verbal and written communication skills.
•Computer skills required.

•Salary: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour (Based on experience)
•Training: Cross training provided for General Labor and HVAC unit installations
