- Involvement in pre- construction input to ensure BMS subcontractors , air balance contractor, and all field installed accessories scope is accurate before and after bid time.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish to include start- up of equipment, controls rough-in, low voltage wiring, equipment repairs, field installed accessories, thermostat's, duct detectors, set up and knowledge of new and older factory supplied controls.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
-Coordinate the install of all sub-contractor provided controls field installed accessories
-Coordinate third party test and balance on all construction projects.
-Manage EMS/ BMS subcontractors from start to finish on all EMS / BMS construction projects.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
- Work directly with BP team to inspect work quality and address any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met
- Review and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and specifications
- Prepare and submit progress reports, start-up documentation, PTP's, JSA's close out documentation, owner training.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Proven experience as a High Level HVAC Commercial Construction Technician with a vast knowledge of EMS controls, equipment repair, equipment servicing, duct detectors, field installed accessories, accessory inventory, construction job pre wiring, equipment start ups
- Strong knowledge of construction management processes, procedures, and best practices
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Build Ops, Bluebeam.
- Extensive knowledge with blue prints, submittals, sequence of operations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage in-house teams and all required subcontractors.
- Ability to problem solve, make decisions, and prioritize tasks in a demanding environment
- Mindfulness and strong organizational skills to ensure project success
