Summary: This position is responsible for supporting the Human Resources team by assisting with recruitment efforts, employee engagement initiatives, training coordination, internal communications, and HR project work.
Essential Functions of the Job: The essential functions of this job require the person, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform the following:
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring events.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, such as wellness programs, recognition activities, and company events.
- Help organize and track training and development programs, including scheduling sessions and preparing materials.
- Contribute to internal communications, such as newsletters, intranet updates, and HR-related announcements.
- Conduct market research on HR best practices, industry trends, and diversity & inclusion efforts.
- Assist with HR administrative tasks, such as maintaining digital files (excluding confidential records), preparing presentations, and organizing resources.
- Provide logistical support for new hire onboarding sessions.
- Participate in HR project work, such as employer branding, process improvement, or internship program development.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Current student in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion in handling HR-related matters.
- Follow the Employee Handbook policies and procedures and uphold organizational values.
- Contribute to building a positive work environment.
- Report for work consistently and on time.
- Report to supervision conditions or practices that are unsafe to ebm-papst and its employees.
