Position: Helper/Grinder FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly) Reporting Relationships: Production Manager Shop Foreman Essential Job Functions: Grinding Removing Waste material from production area as needed. Operate forklifts Material Handling Ability to understand and carry-out verbal and written instructions. Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and managers. Ability to work under periodic supervision focused on the progress of work and setting priorities for job completion. Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and and to work safely. Ability to multitask. Physical Demands: Lift weights up to 35 pounds from floor to waist FREQUENTLY during a 10 hour work shift. Non-Material Handling Demands: Employee is expected to work 40 hours per week. However, hours including overtime and weekends may be required based on needs.
