Summary:
Individual will have prior experience in operation of Harig style manual grinders.
Experience with Bridgeport Mills a bonus.
Job Description:
•
Operate Harig style manual grinder to manufacture die components and close tolerance assemblies.
•
Perform machining operations on tool steels, carbide, steel, and other materials
•
Work with precision tools: mics, indicators, comparators, height gages.
•
Perform routine maintenance on your manual grinder.
•
Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety guidelines
•
Work overtime as required
•
Perform other duties as assigned by manager, Trak mill and Trak Lathe experience a bonus.
Requirements:
•
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and understand basic math concepts
•
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
•
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
•
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Typical shift: 600a – 230p, 2-3 days a week.
