Heavy Truck & Equipment Technician

The Frankfort Plant Board has an opening for an experienced full-time Heavy Truck & Equipment Technician. The successful candidate will assist in the repairs and/or perform preventive maintenance service on vehicles and equipment.

Graduation from high school or equivalent is required, plus a minimum of two years’ work experience as a full-time mechanic with a particular emphasis in diesel and/or heavy truck experience. The candidate must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be eligible to acquire a Commercial Driver’s License within first twelve months of employment.

We offer $18.89-$28.34 hourly an excellent benefits package including Health, Dental, and Vision insurance and membership in the Kentucky Retirement System. All applicants must be able to successfully complete drug screening and background investigation.
