We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Heavy Equipment Truck Driver to join our team. This role is vital to our field operations, ensuring the timely and safe transport of heavy machinery and construction materials across regional job sites.

Key Responsibilities

•

Safely transport heavy construction equipment, tools, and materials to and from job sites

•

Operate Class A commercial vehicles, including dump trucks, cargo trailers, and other heavy-duty equipment

•

Load, unload, and secure equipment per DOT and company safety standards

•

Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness

•

Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with delivery schedules

•

Follow all federal, state, and site-specific traffic and safety regulations

•

Represent J&S Construction in a professional and courteous manner at all time

Qualifications

•

Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat Endorsement (Required)

•

2+ years of heavy haul or Class A driving experience (Required)

•

Experience operating heavy equipment (Preferred)

•

Clean motor vehicle record

•

Must pass DOT physical and maintain current medical card

•

Must pass pre-employment drug screening (Tennessee Drug-Free Workplace)

•

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with site teams

•

Physical ability to lift and secure heavy loads

Physical Requirements

•

Ability to stand, walk, climb, and/or remain in stationary positions for extended periods

•

Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 100 lbs. on a regular basis

•

Comfortable working in varied weather conditions and outdoor environments

•

Capable of performing overhead work for prolonged durations

•

Manual dexterity and physical coordination to operate hand and power tools

•

Normal visual and auditory acuity (with or without corrective aids)
