Position

Heavy Equipment Technician, Nunavut

Location and Reporting Structure

Reporting to the Superintendent, Maintenance, this position will be a fly in- fly out 3x3 rotation based in Nunavut, Canada.

Responsibilities

but not limited to: D6-D8 dozers, 200-349 track hoes, 730 articulated rock trucks, 775 haul trucks, 14H-14M graders, generators, crusher

screening units, loaders, drills, shovels & compactors;

as required;

manufacturers' specifications;

Desired Competencies and Requirements

& compactors;

DR650 drills in a field-based maintenance or repair capacity; and

Compensation and Benefits

For informational purposes, the estimated annual earnings are $172,250.00 for 2184 scheduled hours (combined regular hourly rate of $62.50 and overtime rate of $93.75) in a work year.
