JOURNEYPERSON OFF- ROAD HEAVY EQUIPMENT TECHNICIANS

We are currently looking for qualified Off-Road Journeypersons Heavy Equipment Mechanics who are looking to advance their careers in the field while servicing, troubleshooting, repairing and rebuilding all major makes and models of equipment in the mining industry.

$155000 - $175000/year

Job Description:

•

Service and repair all makes, models and types of mining/construction/forestry equipment

•

Troubleshoot and repair with supplied equipment and diagnostic tooling

•

Complete in the field or in the shop diagnosis and repairs to meet manufacturers specifications

•

Complete daily time, inspections, crossovers, parts orders and notes

•

Work alongside team members and co-workers to complete tasks safe and efficiently

•

Communicate with the Maschio's team, office staff and customers verbally and electronically

Qualifications:

•

Red-Seal Off-Road Heavy Duty Technician Certification

•

Valid Class 5 or better Drivers License with Air brakes

•

Safety first problem solver with a strong attention to detail. Ability to accelerate in a team environment who shows great communication skills matched with organizational skills.

•

A drive and desire to advance themselves in their careers and grow with a company.

•

Confident troubleshooting skills as well able to follow guidelines in manufacturers diagnostic, testing and adjusting procedures

•

High quality workmanship in following safe and efficient rebuilding and component replacing practices to meet manufacturers specifications

•

Prior off-road equipment maintenance and repair on Caterpillar, Hitachi, Komatsu, John Deere as well as other mining equipment

•

Familiar with Diagnostic Programs. Ie. Cat ET/SIS

•

Interprovincial Heavy Equipment Technician Certification.

•

Basic computer and technology knowledge (G-Mail, Google Programs, Word Excel etc.)

Off-Road - Heavy Equipment Technician Red Seal Trade Ticket (required)
