Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment while adhering to all safety regulations.

Duties

- Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and cranes.

- Perform routine maintenance checks and mechanical troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

- Safely transport materials and equipment to designated locations within the work site.

- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
