Martin Marietta is currently looking for a versatile, motivated Heavy Equipment Operator at our Pedersen Quarry in Humboldt, Iowa. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently performing cross-functional duties in safety, plant maintenance, production, and equipment operation. This is a full-time nonunion position.

This position operates 100% of the time in an outdoor surface quarry setting at our Pedersen Quarry in Humboldt, Iowa.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

This is a full-time position that regularly requires long hours and weekend work
