Heavy Equipment Operator

RES Coal LLC is looking for a full-time heavy equipment operator (HEO). This position will work in a field setting at our active mine sites in Clearfield, Centre, Cambria, and Blair County.

The HEO will assure good housekeeping while safely operating and perform light general maintenance on our fleet equipment (or equivalent) including:

· 777 A-F

· D11 N-T

· 992 C-K

· 980 C-K

· Rotary & Hammer Drills

· Screens & Crushers

Minimum Qualifications:

· Reliable and consistent attendance record

· Ability to work swing shifts, and ten-hour shifts

· Five years experience as an equipment operator

Preferred Qualifications:

· Practical coal mining experience as a heavy equipment operator

· Understanding of surface mining operations and equipment

· Tipple and wash plant knowledge

· CDL B

Criteria/Conditions:

· Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment

· Work is performed in a mine or plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes, or airborne particles

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, and work on elevated platforms

· May be required to work a non-standard schedule which may include shift work, extended shifts, or weekends

· Company provided personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, protective clothing, gloves, and any other protective equipment as required

RES focuses on production of premium quality mid-volatile coking coal to serve the steel industry.
