About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Field Machine Fabrication Technician to join our team at our Starke, Florida mine site. This role requires a strong background in heavy equipment fabrication, repair, and field service work. The ideal candidate is safety-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in demanding environments.

Responsibilities

- Perform on-site fabrication, welding, and mechanical repair on heavy equipment and mining machinery.

- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues to provide effective repair solutions.

- Read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and repair manuals.

- Operate service trucks and maintain all tools and equipment in safe working condition.

- Follow strict safety standards and mine site regulations at all times.

- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and ensure maximum equipment efficiency.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair and fabrication (mining industry experience preferred).

- Strong welding, cutting, and fabrication skills.

- Mechanical knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and structural systems.

- Valid driver’s license with a 5-year clean driving record (required).

- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and adapt to a fast-paced mine site environment.

- Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
