Job Description:

Essential Coil Well Service, a division of Element Technical Services, is currently seeking a Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Mechanic for our Grande Prairie location to specialize in CVIP inspections and repairs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Perform CVIP inspections on heavy duty tractors and trailers

- Perform thorough preventative maintenance inspections to all company assets while complying with all safety, environmental and operational policies and procedures

- Diagnose defects and repair a wide variety of heavy-duty equipment

- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on equipment in the shop

Qualifications:

- Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician (Red Seal preferred) but not required

- A valid CVIP license is needed or have the ability to apply for one

- Previous oilfield, coil tubing and pumping experience would be an asset

- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with good driving record required

- Computer diagnostic experience

- Ability to work independently in a busy environment with shifting priorities

- Highly flexible with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment

- Clear and concise communication skills – both written and verbal
