Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. - Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and component inspections to prevent system failures.
- Conduct equipment repair using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment while adhering to safety standards.
- Diagnose complex mechanical problems involving ammonia refrigeration systems or HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) units.
- Assist with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems and property maintenance projects as needed.
- Operate a
- Utilize technical knowledge of electrical systems and schematics to troubleshoot control panels and wiring issues effectively.
- Maintain detailed service records including logs of inspections, repairs, parts used, and system performance reports.
- Collaborate with team members on HVAC system upgrades or new installations ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a solid understanding of HVAC/R systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge including boiler operation, appliance repair, welding skills, and equipment repair techniques.
- Familiarity with construction processes related to HVAC installation projects.
- Experience working with refrigeration systems such as ammonia refrigeration units is highly desirable.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents accurately.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC setups and property maintenance tasks.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices.
- Mechanical experience in field service environments with a focus on maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating
