Health, Safety, & Environment Training Specialist – Field Safety & Compliance

The Role:
As the Health, Safety & Training Manager, you will lead and support Keystone Clearwater's commitment to Goal Zero—zero incidents, injuries, and environmental harm. This position is responsible for advancing company-wide HSE goals, overseeing environmental compliance programs, and driving the development and implementation of impactful training initiatives across the organization. You will supervise the Director of Health, Safety & Environment and Director of Human Resources to ensure programs are compliant, effective, and aligned with operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead Keystone’s HSE Management and Compliance Programs across field operations and corporate offices
•Develop, manage, and deliver field and management training programs, including compliance and professional development
•Oversee site-specific QA/QC audits, coach field personnel, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and customer requirements
•Support onboarding and initial employee orientation regarding HSE procedures and company policies
•Conduct and analyze training needs assessments based on incident trends, near misses, and observation reports
•Serve as a key resource during incidents, emergencies, or regulatory events, including on-call availability
•Maintain up-to-date documentation and reports for compliance tracking and regulatory requirements
•Monitor and report on key HSE performance metrics (TRER, TRIR, etc.) and correlate data to training effectiveness
•Stay current on industry best practices and emerging safety regulations, ensuring Keystone remains ahead of compliance standards
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field OR 5+ years of experience in Oil & Gas or a similar industry
•At least one current EHS certification (e.g., CHST, CSP, or equivalent)
•Strong working knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations
•8-Hour Supervisor Training and SafeLand or OSHA 10 Certification
•Experience with Learning Management Platforms
•3+ years of training experience, including designing and delivering corporate training programs

Schedule:
Full-Time | Office-Based & Field Support | Travel Required
Work includes indoor office settings and outdoor job sites with varying weather conditions and noise levels. Occasional lifting, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking may be required.
