About Us
We're a growing company in the IT and marketing space, focused on building smart, sustainable systems that scale. Our team is small but mighty, and we're looking for someone who thrives in an environment where processes are evolving, autonomy is valued, and the impact is real. This role will help build the people foundation for our next stage of growth.
About the Role
We're looking for a thoughtful, reliable Head of People Operations to shape and support the full employee experience. You'll own the core people systems, from hiring and onboarding to performance and engagement, while building the infrastructure for a values-driven, people-first workplace.
This is a Director-level role in scope and ownership, you'll lead and build the People function from the ground up. You'll work closely with leadership and have a true seat at the table as we scale.
This is a full-time, on-site role, ideal for someone who's excited to be hands-on while also shaping long-term strategy. The compensation range is dependent on experience and level of strategic ownership. We're open to candidates who are ready to step into this role and grow, as well as those who bring deeper experience in building people systems from scratch.

•Design and implement onboarding processes that create clarity and connection
•Maintain HR policies, handbooks, and internal documentation with a people-first lens
•Coordinate performance cycles (90-day reviews, quarterly check-ins, development feedback)
•Partner with leadership on workforce planning, hiring needs, and employee experience
•Serve as a trusted resource for employee questions, team culture, and support
Systems & Compliance
•Support payroll and benefits administration (in partnership with finance/leadership)
•Ensure compliance with employment law, recordkeeping, and HR best practices
•Help streamline and document internal processes across the employee lifecycle
•Implement lightweight tools to improve hiring, engagement, and performance systems
Culture & Communication
•Shape internal communication around policies, values, and expectations
•Support team wellness and engagement touchpoints
•Help define and maintain a strong company culture as the team grows
Who You Are
•4–8 years of experience in People Ops, Operations, HR, or talent roles
•Comfortable working independently, with strong follow-through and communication
•Familiar with HR/payroll systems (Rippling, Gusto, BambooHR, etc.)
•Confident building people processes from scratch but willing to keep things lightweight
•Empathetic and organized; good with systems and also human in your approach
•Bonus: Experience hiring for technical or IT-related roles
What We Offer
•A collaborative, forward-thinking team that values transparency, autonomy, and care
•A clear seat at the table, with opportunities to shape strategy and company culture
•A flexible, values-driven environment where your input and ownership matter
•A thoughtful benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k), and unlimited paid time off because we believe supporting our team is essential to doing great work
•Opportunities for long-term growth as the company continues to scale
