Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated intern to join our Hazardous Waste Management team for the summer of 2025. This internship offers hands-on experience in hazardous waste operations, compliance, and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: Assist in classifying, packaging, and coordinating the transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

Support compliance efforts with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.

Participate in facility audits to ensure proper waste storage and handling.

Help maintain accurate records of waste shipments, manifests, and disposal methods.

Contribute to waste minimization and recycling initiatives.

Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to document and communicate project information effectively.

Qualifications: Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Chemistry, or a related field.

Academic Standing: Minimum of 60 credit hours completed with a GPA of 3.00 or higher.

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Certifications: 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with RCRA and DOT regulations.

Experience or coursework related to hazardous waste management.
