Job description
Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting rental equipment to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations.
Duties
•
Operate trucks and other vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
•
Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
•
Ensure the safe handling of products during transportation, including heavy lifting when necessary.
•
Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of cargo transported.
•
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns.
•
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
•
Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
Skills
•
Proficient in driving various types of vehicles, including manual transmission trucks.
•
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
•
Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently.
•
Capability for heavy lifting and moving of goods as required by the job.
•
Attention to detail in maintaining delivery records and vehicle condition.
•
Flexibility in adapting to changing schedules and routes as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
