- Drive truck and/or equipment in a safe and careful manner as dispatched, including to outlying locations.
- Perform basic maintenance requirements such as replacing hoses, fittings, and couplings.
- Perform miscellaneous emergency roadside equipment repairs, such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, and making acceptable temporary repairs.
- Comply with rules and regulations of the industry as required by the Department of Transportation (DOT), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and other federal, state, and local agencies; follow company policies and procedures as required.
- Report compliance problems to supervisor.
- Keeping daily written vehicle and personal records as required.
- Remaining alert to potential hazardous concentrations of hydrogen sulfide (H2S); being trained in and understanding the dangers and ramifications of the presence of H2S; and carrying H2S training card on person at all times.
- May be required to periodically work out of location other than base terminal for special assignments.
- Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with all endorsements and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age, or older.
- English language fluency, verbal and written.
- Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.
